In this body of work, I pair pollinators from the waking world with pollinators from my dreams. The hexagon, a symbol of balance between the spiritual and material worlds, serves as the connective thread linking dream pollinators to their earthly counterparts.
Within each hexagon appears my “dream language,” a written translation of the words I speak in dreams and intuitively transcribe upon waking. Each piece is a gratitude letter and an offering to nature, to the world of dreams, and to my heritage, whose vibrant colors and traditions flow through every layer of my work.
