I am Ana, a mixed media bookbinding artist born in Michoacán, Mexico, and currently based in Oakland, CA. My work originates from the vivid landscpaes of my dreams and my time spent in nature.

As a child, visiting my grandmother’s house, sparked a profound fascination with insects. The rhythmic hum of cicadas, the delicate flight of bees, butterflies, and dragonflies left an incredible mark in my life.

Coupled with the vivid imagery from my dreams, which continue to inspire my creative journey.
